There are 5 big reasons why Singapore is a natural home for AgriFood Tech in Asia;

  1. Access: Ready geographic access to transport and ASEAN production bases makes Singapore a logical hub for expansion.

  2. Reputation: Singapore has a strong and stable Government with a focus on corporate governance and investment in the ASEAN community.

  3. Resources: Building on its traditional strength in (sea and air freight) logistics, Tertiary Education and Research Infrastructure, Singapore is investing in Digital Innovation across Fintech, Medtech and Foodtech. It is also home to a range of investors.

  4. Workforce: For a small island nation, Singapore has an educated, adaptable and capable workforce with a strong multilingual base.

  5. Network: Singapore has strong trading relationships with many APAC countries and is a headquarter destination for all major MNC’s involved in Food and Agriculture.
